Vanessa Bezbrozh, L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist).

Vanessa is the founder of Community Heart Acupuncture. She treats a variety of conditions and is deeply passionate about this powerful and much-needed medicine. She is very excited to be able to offer acupuncture to a wide variety of people with a wide variety of incomes. Ever since she began her studies in acupuncture, her dream has been to treat everyone with this amazing medicine and to make it available to everyone who needs it. And having experienced its wonderful effects for her own for several years, she knows that everyone needs it, especially here in our tension-driven New York!

Vanessa is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York – a rigorous, 4-year Masters level program. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of New York (Lic. No. 004007) and a Diplomate in Acupuncture, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).


Thea McCallion, L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist).

Thea B. McCallion, MS, LAc has over 10 years of clinical experience working in hospitals, clinics and private practice in China and New York, including the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. While the primary focus of Thea's professional career has been on women's health including fertility and other gynecological issues she enjoys treating the whole family. Other conditions she commonly treats are orthopedic and pain syndromes; digestive and respiratory issues; stress; anxiety and more. Thea graduated with honors from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with an Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She is both NCCAOM Certified in Herbs and Acupuncture and is licensed in New York State. Her ability to diagnose and treat patients is enhanced by her skills in: Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture; Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage); Teishin and Shoni-shin Needle-less Acupuncture and Reflexology. Her practice is further informed by her personal training in yoga and martial arts. Thea is fluent in Japanese and her study of both western and oriental medicine includes over fifteen years of traveling to and living in Asia. She currently lives in New York City with her husband and young daughter.
